The song IN MY DEFENCE was recorded by Freddie Mercury and released in the year after Freddie’s death, 1992. It reached No. 7 in the UK charts at Christmas 1992. In 2006 EMI released a CD and DVD “Love of Life… Singer of Songs” to commemorate what would have been Freddie’s 60th birthday, and IN MY DEFENCE is the opening song on both, the CD and the DVD.
